Focus and Scope

Iranian Journal of Biotechnology (IJB) is published quarterly by the National Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology. IJB publishes original scientific research papers in the broad area of  Biotechnology such as, Agriculture, Animal and Marine Sciences, Basic Sciences, Bioinformatics, Biosafety and Bioethics, Environment, Industry and Mining and Medical Sciences

Peer Review Process

 To Respected authors:

 Dear authors,please read the items carefully,before submission:

 the reviewing process & procedure may takes long time .IJB is not responsible for any urgency or...so please set your time.There is no manuscript a,priority.

 Authors may suggest 3-5 referees in the field , so,they will be cosidered as reviewers of the manuscript(s)by editorial invitation.

The closest possible time for issuing the "official-acceptance letter" is after the last step of copyediting stage & before publication or afterward.  

 The "revised manuscript" by author must be "high-light" for any modification,line by line & point by point in base of reviewer's comments & suggestions or questions.Also ,a cover letter must be appended by,for any possible description & explanation as a "response to referees".

Please kindly intercalate a mobile phone number on the manuscript.

Don't forget to check the box of "reader" when you check the "author"  box.

 

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
